    Late '80s, 4cyl Evinrude 90 hp "transmission" issue.

    Once powered up on the water, it appears to jump out of drive--engine revs up then drops back into drive--this cycling continues. This motor has not been abused and does not have a lot of hours on it for it's age. It has not been used for 2 years but did the same thing before too. Tractors...
