    hi Guys, just wanted to thank everyone for the help with my vp 5.0fl. reassemeled everything after having the heads resurfaced, adjusted the timing, and it runs like new. Can't believe we did a job lke that and it came out aok. :):):)

    putting together 5.0fl

    Well, tomorrow, I'm putting on my new head gaskets, and everything else. Just 1 question. Can I buy and use a ford automobile oil filter just to run the engine for 15 minutes, then change the oil and put on a marine oil filter? thanks Joe

    Hi everyone. Joe here, 1995 vp 5.0fl phue I blew the head gaskets when I overheated the motor. Well, I've got the heads off and serviced. Just a few questions. Can I reuse the head bolts? They have the little nipple on the end (torque to yield?) I have been searching the forum for torque...
