    2003 Mercury 40 ELPTO starts buts dies after 15 seconds

    Up in a cabin with a DOA 40HP Mercury motor. Not used a lot (less than 20 outings) but new plugs, fresh fuel, and good fuel line/bulb. Went to dealer today to get a new fuel filter but they did not have the right one. They suggested Merc QuickCleen fuel system cleaner but after several attempts...
