    Yamaha 115hp V4 strange alarm problem

    I would check the dead man emergency switch. If the key is in and the switch is turned on ( run position) and the dead man switch lanyard is not in place you will get an alarm when you try to start it. If there is a problem with the switch or its wiring it might give you an intermittent alarm...
