    I just loosened the bowl bolt and tossed them in. After a cycle hit them for break cleaner and reassemble.

    Funny I would see this today. I have a Mercury 40 hp 2 stroke with 2 carbs. I took them off today and ran them through my ultrasonic cleaner. My motor went from not firing to starting on the second turn of the key. I bought mine at Harbor freight and bought carburetor cleaner from Amazon.
