    Do I need the carb that comes with the Mercury 880095A12 remote conversion kit?

    I am in the process of converting our crash boat to a center console. Our 2011, F15ELH, 15HP Mercury, 4-stroke outboard has tiller controls. The remote conversion kit (880095A12) comes with a new carburetor. Do I need the carb? I don't need remote choke, but maybe the linkages are different...
