    Steering cable frozen

    "I have a 1986 131A/275. the S "I have a 1986 131A/275. the Steering cable is frozen inside the assembly which attaches to the transom just before connecting to the sterndrive. I am trying to free it with heat and WD40. Any other ideas? thanks, Bill"
