    stuck keyway on 1981 merc 115 hp bearing carrier assembly

    Hi folks I have a stuck keyway on the bearing carrier assembly and cannot find a way to get it out of the lower unit gear housing .. tried a magnet bent wire from inside the housing etc...any suggestions?
