    Throttle cable 96 50 hp mariner

    howdy folks, Recently repowered my hull with a new to me 97 mariner 50 hp 2 stroke. Needed cables, so I look em up and ordered the cc179 cables. Shift works fine, the end for the throttle seems too short. I don't think 4000 rpm is idle. Anyone know what cable this engine needs?
