    Thank you, I will pop the air filter off and check, the carb looked pretty small so it’s probably a two barrel 165 HP

    Thank you, that’s what I found so far as well , weird serial number. I will eventually take the engine out and start looking for some casting number to narrow down a date. I was hoping to determine what HP it had from the factory.

    Hello Everyone, I am trying to date this engine, it seems to be a 289 LH and its currently sitting in a 1965 Arena Craft. The number in the front is NO: NW31L422442 The only thing I know its a 289 Ford LH rotation at the flywheel.
