    1988 Black Max wont go beyond 2000RPM

    Okay, I have a 1988 black max that gets regular service, the fuel is fresh so is the tune up. Motor starts right up, idles fine but wont go faster than 2000 rpm on a load. Any thoughts where to start to look? Mike
