    Swapping out evinrude 115 motors ?????

    I am swapping out 115 evinrude motors they look identical but one is a little newer they supposedly will use the same controls and stuff but I've never taken apart the throttle and shifter at the motor it's a 1978 motor anyone know how to they come off thr motor before I wing it. Thanks

    Evinrude 78 115 driveshaft removal / prop shaft removal

    I think I have some gears or something wrong in my gear case and would like to take it all apart to find out what parts I need to replace. Can't seem to find much info on doing so. Does anyone have a used lower unit for this motor? How do I get the driveshaft out and prop shaft ?

    1978 evinrude 115 starting issue?

    I bought this pontoon boat with a 78 evinrude 115 on it . The motor cranked and ran when I bought it and the next day just fine. I was starting it with a 550 ca deep cycle battery . Well the next day I couldn't get it to turn worth a dang so I thought it was the battery . Went and bought a 750...
