    Lower unit gear ratio question

    I’ve got a 97 Elpto90 that reverse messed up in. I purchased a used lower unit from a 115. I’ve found that my original gear ratio was a 2.31:1 and the new lower unit is a 2.07:1. How much difference is this going to make? Motor is on a 24 ft pontoon.
