    Wont throttle up

    I have a 1992 175hp V6 John [b]I have a 1992 175hp V6 Johnson it wont throttle up when i go... i checked the water seperater filter... it was ok.. it skips real bad when i try to go.. it cranks good idols good i can prob. get a 1000 rpm out of it but thats about it.... any help?
