    Thanks everyone. Useful feedback. Anyone know what ratio vinegar to water is best to flush the salt? I imagine too strong isn't that good for the internals.

    Thanks. Yes I will give that a try. The telltale sets off the overheat alarm - which indicates impeller. But clearing the telltale also stops the issue too. So a bit contradictory. Appreciate your help

    Hi I have two 2005 BF200 outboards on a RIB and they are both having intermittent blockages of the telltales. Usually partially blocked. Does sometimes set off the engine overheat alarm when they are run hard for a while and gets better once blockage removed. I push a stiff bit of fishing line...
