    1997 johnson 225 fuel problem

    just replaced the vro pump now it runs for a minute then shuts off pump the ball it starts up runs good if i keep pumping the ball the motor runs good it ran fine before i changed the pump. it was the oil side that was bad on the pump. i can't figure it out can anyone help ?
