    78 Merc 4.5

    Hi All I'm new to the forum. I just picked up a 1978 Merc 4.5 that didn't run Looking it over I see that there must have been some type of major short as coil and ground wire are all decoated :eek: I am replaceing them and have filed the points so I don't have to spend LARGE $$$ to replace them...
