    Can you point me to any documentation that tells me what it should be? I can't recall the specific youtube video I saw, but someone was saying that the stator output should be 40VAC or more. If 20VAC input = 7-8VDC output from the rectifier, then maybe 40VAC input to the rectifier would produce...

    Actually, both red wires do connect back to the battery already. I read somewhere that the 2nd red wire might come into play when the engine is running at high rpms. It’s difficult for me to find good documentation on the details.

    Engine: 50HP 2006 mercury outboard, 3 cylinder Battery was not charging. With engine running, the output to battery was about 7VDC. Measured between one of the red wires coming from the regulator/rectifier and ground. The 2nd red wire was measuring 0VDC between it and ground. What does it do...
