    1988 Merc classic 50 vent hose

    "I have aquired a 1988 45 hp. "I have aquired a 1988 45 hp. classic 50 outboard which has a tube or hose coming from the front of the lower unit (see Pic), but don't see where it should be connected? Can anyone help? vent tube ?
