    fuel oil mix question

    what kind of oil and what octaine of gas would you folks recomend for a 1971 eska 3hp. since gas no longer has lead in it and we have synthetic lubicants any thoughts would be welcomed

    continue on from my last post.So i got the wrong needle from the carb kit but my old one still looked ok ,so I put it back in .A rusty gas tank caused most of my problems so I rigged up a plastic bottle to serve as a gas tank,she fired right up clean gas works wonders Im using 24/1 fuel mix...

    hello all I got this carb kit from discount marine its for a 3hp sears ,the original inlet needle had a rubber tip the new one is all metal and comes with seal .the question is do i install the seal and use the new needle will or do i need to get a new rubber tipped needle my instruction sheet...

    hello all Im work i ng on this sears 3hp outboard ,i had the gear box apart and while stuggling to get the thing back together I realized it had no water pump just a tube.also the carb looks simpler than most of them i hav e seen online ,no fuel pump and so on.is it just gravity fed.if I can...

    sears/eska I have aquired a 3hp sears outboard ,it seems like it wants to run

    Itsa 1971 3 hp sears outboard thats been sitting in a barn for years .when I got it |I changed the oil in the lower unit .It would it idle but thats about it also there was oil in water of the trash can it was in .I have ordered a card kit and oil seals in an attempt to get this little motor...
