    Newer trim tilt on 89 40hp evinrude

    Has anyone ever tried putting a newer 40hp evinrude trim tilt (5009035, 2004, 40hp) on an older 1989 40hp evinrude? They look identical and I found a good deal on the newer, but I'd have to buy and ship it here to find out if it works.
