    Engine revs increase with cover on???

    Hi. this has me baffled. After starting engine for first time this year I notice a big problem. Basically the engine idles fine without cover on top, but when cover is on the revs increase dramatically after only 2-3seconds. Nothing is touching throttle cables etc. why ??? Engine is Yamaha...
