    60 HP Merc - lower unit

    I just had skeg material welded on my 60 HP Merc. When I try to turn the propeller, there is resistance, then a click with each half turn. I am worried that the weld may have affected the internals inside the lower unit while welding under heat. Is this fixable or am I in big trouble with the lower?
