    1983 mariner 25 fuel filling crankcase

    My mariner just stopped at the weekend when I pumped the fuel ball the ball didnt go hard . I found fuel coming out of the gearbox vents and the engine wouldn't turn the crankcase was full of fuel . The needle valve is spotless so not that . Any ideas ? Is it the diaphragm ?
