    Sounds like fuel pump energizes when shutting off causes a flooded restart problem on my 2005 5.7 gi

    My 2005 Volvo penta 5.7 GI is hard starting after a shut down. I hear something turning on after the engine is turned off. It sounds like the fuel pump is energized and flooding the cylinders. If you try to restart their after you have to place in neutral and throttle it up to get it to start...
