    Mariner Magnum 40 Questions

    Took out my new to me long awaited Mariner magnum 4cyl for a water test today...it failed miserably. It started to run fine..then revved up high and now won't rev up under load. Checked compression and spark. Replaced fuel filter. Confused as to why it suddenly went out. Also wondering wondering...
