    I have a johnson 175 hp model J175PXEES 1999 with no spark HELP!!!!!!

    The motor ran good the last time out, but it was running with a shorted battery ever since then it will not run at all. The old stator was showing signs of an overheat. I replaced the stator with a new CDI 173-4981 and still won't fire up, What else would you recommend?
