    Has anyone on here ever replaced a 1980 35hp evinrude carb with a same yr 25hp carb? If so is there anything special to be done or is it even possible

    Carb adjustment or sync

    Can anyone tell me how to adjust or sync the carb on my 1980 35hp Evinrude motor? I think that I’ve got an issue once I hit about 1/4 throttle it’s bogging out and just won’t open up

    1980 35hp Evinrude

    I had and carb issue I thought so put a rebuild kit in it replaced fuel pump new oem hose and bulb brand new tank replaced all hoses and it idles fine as you start to raise the rpms. At about 3/4 throttle it started to sputter and shuts off. I’m not sure what to do now. Any suggestions. Thinking...
