    '73 6hp johnson seahorse wont idle

    my 6hp johnson seahorse will start and run for about 10 secs at half throttle. It will die anywhere near the lower throttle end and wont start again for about 6-7 pulls at half throttle again. water stream is ok, gas tank is venting, a little gas comes out of the carb as im trying to start it...
