    I looked at the diagram of the oil sump. The oil pickup tube has a small mesh screen. So there’s no way that the plastic piece could get into the oil pump.

    2018 Mercury 4 stroke. The plastic oil dipstick broke off in the tube. Probably about 1 inch. The remaining dipstick shows good oil level and fits in the tube just fine. Am I ok to run it? I’m assuming it’s stuck in the tube. Worst case it’s in the oil pan.

    I have a 2015 Mercury 60 Command Thrust. It's been running very rough between 1-2k rpm. Not able to hold rpm and sounds like it's stalling. Never actually stalls though. Idle is fine, above 2000 rpm is fine. Here's what I've replaced so far with no changes: Fuel tank, all fuel lines...
