    Mercury 40 HP outboard Engine runs great but prop won't turn

    I was motoring at low RPM when I either hit a stump, the prop was fouled by a rope or something internally failed. The engine runs great, but when I put it into gear the prop doesn't turn. I pulled the prop but there is no obvious damage. Any ideas what to do next?
