    Can I buy a lower unit for a mercury 110 9.8?

    I am looking a a used boat, with a mercury 110 9.8 h.p. motor, unsure of the year yet but I have heard that back then all the 9.8 should fit each other, but I have also heard the 110 9.8 is much different then the regular 9.8 motor, are these true? I have found some lower units on line but...
