    Water pump, replace when

    I have seen mention of people replacing water pumps on a routine basis kinda like preventive maintenance. Do you recommend that? How often do you do that? Or do you just replace the impeller sometimes and not the whole pump? Mercury 40hp '97 and also a 2019 Yamaha 115hp

    Hello, this pertains to my 1997 Tracker (Mercury) 40hp 2-stroke (4 cylinder) on my Tracker Pro Team 17, which is, obviously, 17 ft long. What should the compression be?
