    Removing cowl on 70hp 1992 Mercury

    I know this sounds dumb, but I'm having trouble removing the cowl on my 70 hp 1992 Mercury. I can find no screws, bolts, or levers to release the cowl. It looks like the front plate may snap off but I don't won't to pry in the wrong place and break something. Any help would be appreciated.
