    Drive shaft 1957 johnson35 . how to change

    I hit stumps in local lake.now motor runs fine, then theres a thump sound and feeling like missing a gear or not connecting...actually feels exactly like hitting a stump. Runs fine slow, give it gas and that noise is there. Also a slight jerk. Prop is ok.

    Never pulled lower unit on boat motor. Not sure if I can change it myself

    Anybody tell/show me how to connect shift and throttle. 15 hp Evinrude, so eye ring already there.
