    Stuck in forward gear

    I have a 40hp Mercury that will not go into reverse gear. I can't figure it out. Any help is appreciated.

    40 hp lower unit being difficult

    I cannot get the lower unit of my mercury 40hp to fit flush after removal. It gets to within about a 1/2 inch and feels like it is hitting something. Any tips would be appreciated.

    1994 40 hp mercury stalls at full throttle

    I have a 1994 mercury 40 hp that began stalling out at full throttle. I have cleaned out the fuel tanks/lines and carb. It is still doing it. after it sits for a bit it will start and run for a while and then stall again, any ideas?
