    Gear shaft not mating on 7.5 merc.

    Hi all, ******* I am in Australia and having problemn fitting my leg back on my 7.5 hp merc ,gear matches but lower gear shaft does not want to mate up with upper shaft.Gearbox is ok gears engage with lower unit of but does not seem to engage for me when put on.Would appreciate any suggestions...
