    please correct me if im wrong-I loosened (3) 5/8 nuts in front of lwr unit and removed (1) 9/16 bolt from under the trim tab- Is there any other bolts or nuts I need to remove as I shook lwr unit it did not drop ? or is there any thing else I need to do to get the unit to drop. It is a 1996...

    frozen lower unit trim tab bolt

    this is my first post hope I can find some help-I have a 1996 mariner magnum III 150 that needs a new impeller the problem is when I went to remove the Trim Tab bolt so I could expose the hidden lwr unit bolt, it is frozen, I cracked (3) 1/2in sockets 3/8th drive trying to remove the bolt also...
