    Will the new oil seals leak with a dent in prop shaft?

    I have a mariner 8HP, I removed the lower oils seals cause there was a lot of water in the gear oil when I changed it. During the removal process I dented the prop shaft with the flat head screw driver I was using to remove them with. When I go and put the new oil seals on will they get damaged...
