If it is a 80's its Gen 1 type
1990 and newer is Gen 2
Visual difference is.
Where the upper gear case and lower gear case connect,
Gen 1 has nuts in pockets near front of drive.
Gen 2 has 4 visable bolts and nuts (2 per side)

Yes but it has a threaded end on the inside vs Alpha which uses the clips.
The replacement parts are all brass/bronze so it a one time replacement of the transom parts. The Hose...well the new hose looks good but degrades quickly. Not sure what else to use
The one used on bravo is slightly different so be aware. It uses threaded fitting and nut on the engine side of transom.
The one in the pic usea C/E clips and absolutely sucks to replace!!
I suggest you learn how to search online for stuff. Took me 60 seconds to find this one, many others available on EBAY

I just went thru an issue (NOT specifically yours) on a Bravo 1 (they use the same components)
