    350mag bravo III rpms running high

    the last two times I was running my 230ccr crownline with a 350mag bravo III the rpms would go up to 5000 when I was only going 1/2 throttle (28 mph). Can I continue to run the baot at low speed, or will I do damage? what causes the rpms to race like this?
