    My 9.8 was only a year old and I had to replace the ignition coil (no spark). It was about $40.00 on Amazon.

    Tohatsu 9.8 oil pressure light question

    The oil pressure light stayed on when everything else checked out ok, replaced the oil pressure switch and now the light goes out after starting. The question I have is I thought the light turned green after the red light went off, as long as the red light goes off is the oil pressure good?

    Minnesota snow bird has Gheenoe with a MFS 9.8 bought new in 2023 used in Florida in January, February and March 2024, boat and motor were stored on lift covered. When we returned in 2025 motor wouldn't fire no spark. Replaced coil and motor stared on 1st pull. Changed oil and oil looked a...
