    racerone - part number for two nipple fuel pump for 1997 40 hp

    Could you please tell me where to find a two nipple fuel pump for a 1997 40 hp motor? I have a three nipple version, but I read over and over in previous threads that the two nipple version is the most ideal model. Thanks.

    1997 40 hp starts on starting fluid then dies

    Installed a used powerhead, removed VRO and replaced with a fuel pump then installed dealer rebuilt carbs. Motor started with starting fluid, ran for about a minute.
