    I bought a repair manual yesterday and have been checking the ignition coils, both coils have the same ohm readings, 249 ohms on the spark plug wire posts and .3 on the power pack wire posts. I get a spark 7/16 inch long on the bottom cylinder, and I get a 1/8 inch spark on the top cylinder...

    When I pull the starting rope hard, I get fairly strong spark on the bottom cylinder and a weaker spark on the top cylinder.
