    Stiff throttle on new 4JH 110

    I have a new 4JH 110 turbo fitted to my sailboat. The engine fires up immediately. Forward gear engages easily, but the throttle lever is so stiff that I worry it might snap off. Going astern is perfectly normal to engage and throttle up. Is this just a cable problem or something more involved ?
