    1999 merc force 75hp starter issue

    I replaced the starter recently and everything worked great. A week later the battery cable came unattached to the starter. Reattached but now starter won’t work. Battery is good and strong. No idea if the starter somehow got damaged when cable disengaged. Any ideas or help?
