    Mercruiser popping noise 2002 496

    I have a 496 Bravo 3 mercruiser with 357 hours on it in a 2002 Sea Ray. The engine has developed a popping sound that is more prevelant at between 3500 and 4000 rpm's. Is it possible that a coil is breaking down for one of the cylinders causing this delayed ignition? Is there a computer...
