2006 BF225 ECNM part number question

SB70 says that for my engine (A6XA BAGJ-1400223) I should be using the updated 14mm O2 sensor (like I said above, I am using the 06356-ZY3-307), and it says I should be using the ECM part number 34750-ZY3-A04. So maybe I do need to keep trying to run it? Or maybe I got a bad ECM?

2006 BF225 ECNM part number question

I just realized that I should clarify that I am using "alternative" Honda O2 sensor part number 06356-ZY3-307. As I understand it, this O2 sensor is the exact same as the 35655-ZY3-013 (just $60 instead of $300).

2006 BF225 ECNM part number question

Thanks guys! I will look at the SB70. The only issue with trying to run it so it might "adapt", is that right now it only runs for a few seconds before it stalls. I have only run it on earmuff so far, not in the water.

2006 BF225 ECNM part number question

I have a 2006 BF225 A6XA BAGJ-1400223. The current ECM on the motor is 34750-ZY3-A01. I believe I have the updated exhaust manifold and O2 sensor (sensor is the 14mm version). I thought I needed the ECM 34750-ZY3-A04, so bought a used one off ebay. When I plugged in the A04 ECM, it starts...

    2006 bf225 falling/surging rpm’s.

..I noticed that it seems the IAB has more affect on higher RPM’s. Do you think if it was bad, it would cause the rpm fluctuations I’m having between 1400 and 4600? I’m going check it out as you described regardless.

Thanks! I will check that asap! I hope that’s it. It’s been really frustrating.

    2006 bf225 falling/surging rpm’s.

..should add that the reason we are only using the main tank is we found water in both tanks, so drained the main tank completely before replacing the filters, fuel lines etc. Have not replaced the filler hose or vent hose (doing that tomorrow)

    2006 bf225 falling/surging rpm’s.

2006 225 with about 1800hrs. From approx 1400 - 4400 rpm’s, it will drop 200-400 rpm’s and then come back up. Doesn’t do it after 4600. Currently only using the main tank. New fuel lines, water separator filter, new HP and LP filters. Also just had a valve adjustment done. Drained the vst, but...
