    4.3 ltr not firing on all 6 after new longblock

    new, carb, coil, long block, timing 8*btdc wires all have spark new plugs, engine runs when i pull off plug wires 3 dont make any diff others will stall it out firing order triplechecked also i dont know where black wire on bottom of dist is for, grounded it ,made no diff .any ideas good...

    trying to figure out what year my 4.3 ltr mercruiser is

    It has bolts on top of valve covers, thunderbolt 4 ignition on manifold ,12 or 13 bolts on intake, has mcm 4.3 Lh rotation on plastic air cleaner cover, carbeurated, the serial # are B957543 does this mean it's a 95
