    Yamaha 150 shifting problems

    i have a yamaha 150 on a bay boat and when I shift to forward and reverse there:confused: is excessive grinding, a friend adjusted the linkage on the top of the motor but that did not seem to help any suggestions

    speedometer problems

    I just purchased a used pathfinder with a yamaha 150 and during the sea trials everything work fine but now the speedometer is not working properly. It is showing a much slower speed than the gps. any ideas on what the problem is and how to correct it. joe
